When I tried to activate my brand new and shining Spark VST in Live last night, using the correct method, nothing happened as I hit the Activate button in the GUI. No activation, and I lost one of the five activations permitted.
I reinstalled Spark from the download, opened the AU version in DP 9 and – no problems this time, smooth activation. Go figure…
So, it seems that there might be some conflict between Live 10 and the Mercuriall activation algorithm.

I’ve played the original Boss pedal these are based on and it has a certain tone and sound that’s an acquired taste. As with any effects pedal, it is all about how you use it. So this new plug-in emulation could be really useful for certain applications in your DAW.
