Studio One 3 Professional Auto Tune
Jan 02, 2017 Melodyne doesn't do auto-tune. It does do pitch-correction but not live. One of the cheapest plugins that does auto-tune that I know of is Izotope's Nectar Elements. If you do a lot of work with vocals, I'd recommend getting the full Nectar 2 Suite as it gives you more control as well as a lot more functions, options, and effects. Feb 22, 2017 Since Studio One Prime, the free version DAW, does not support VST plug-ins, I demonstrate how we can still get great tuned vocals with pitch correction/tuning ( The manual way).
To load an ARA instance of Auto-Tune Pro, you must add it as an “Event FX” insert on a specific audio event. There are few ways to do so in Studio One.
The simplest way to do this is to press and hold down the “Option / Alt” key and then click and drag the VST3 version of Auto-Tune Pro from Studio One’s “Effects” menu onto an audio event.
Auto-Tune Pro will now open up with the audio data automatically tracked into Graph Mode:
An alternate method is to first click on an audio event and then click on the “Event FX” drop-down tab (triangle):
Click on the '+' to open the Event FX drop-down menu:
Select Auto-Tune Pro VST3 from the plug-in menu:
Auto-Tune Pro will now open up with the audio data automatically tracked into Graph Mode:
Installation and Compatibility
***Important Note***: Our plugins (and all other 3rd-party plugins) are only readily compatible with 'Professional' versions of Studio One. If you have an 'Artist' version of Studio One, you'll need to get the VST and AU add-on from Presonus and install it in order to load our plugins in Studio One Artist.
If your Antares plug-ins are not showing up in Studio One (64-bit), please be sure that you have installed the 64-bit VST or AU version of the plug-in.
If your license is for an older 32-bit version, you may need to first purchase an upgrade, or alternatively, use Studio One 3 in 32-bit mode.
The installers for older versions of our plugins can be found here.
